Our club is now 53 years old, the first Pony Club chapter established in the United States The MTPC serves Nashville and adjacent counties with year-round activities. Membership is open to boys & girls age 6 to 25 who have an active interest in English riding.
Why is Pony Club Special?
Pony Club is unique among riding organiz- ations because its educational programs place equal emphasis on the teaching of riding skills, horse-care fundamentals, and team participation with sportsmanship. Pony Club prepares its members to take on the responsibilities of owning a horse by the judging of Horse Management at all its competitive rallies. The competitors are judged within their respective rating levels on their knowledge and use of sound, practical horse care, which they have acquired through regular practice.
